Walleye Fishing on the south end remains red hot. Fish are in the main basin so you will need your sonar to find them. BUT, once you do, hang on! There are a bunch of them and they are eating!! The lake seems to be chock full of mid 20’s up through 30″ and there are enough unders to keep everyone full. Spinners with a 2.5 or 3 oz bottom bouncer are working for most people. Some are downrigging and some are jigging or casting at them. Again, the key is to use your sonar to find them!Up at the angle Walleye fishing has picked up a lot. Jigging on the reefs or pulling spinners around them both produce. Muskie fishing has been typical of late July – awesome! We have several reports of multiple big fish days and it seems as most people are having some sort of action every time out.
